On the one hand, the domaine is one of the most traditional Swiss wine producers – on the other hand, are among the most innovative.
The vineyards have been farmed biodynamically since 2012, while the grapes are farmed according to conventional methods
Pressed using a vertical spindle. The white wines are wonderfully fresh and fruity. The red wines, on the other hand, are intended for longer storage
and exciting, lively and authentic.
The Neuchâtel vineyard is located on the southern flank of the
Jurassic. Modeled on the old Rhone glacier
it stretches along Lake Neuchâtel. The
Winery covers 2 sites located 10 km from their appellations: Auvernier to the west of Neuchâtel and Hauterive to the east. The vines are between 440 and 510 m above sea level and
extend over a total area of almost 10
hectares. All soils consist of clay-limestone
a pH value between 7.6 and 8.1.
The sedimentary and moraine soil of this location offers the vines a large soil volume
Depth. Some plots (La Brena, Les Abbesses, La
Grand’Vigne) contain fine marl particles that also
a regular water supply in summer
guarantee. This particular structure favors
“Winy” and aromatic white wines. On others
Plots like La Pierre, Les Lerins, Les Tires or Le
Montillier is the country redder (iron) and has a
stony ground. The mother rock, the limestone,
is not far away. This soil stores water
less light and is perfect for Pinot Noir.
