The 2016 wine year is one of the very best of the last 30 years. Wow, what a brilliant nose with black cherries, light raspberries, licorice, light eucalyptus and cigar notes. Bewitching this nose.
Soft tannins on the palate with plenty of punch and supple muscle.
Despite this power, it just floats across the palate, incredibly long. What a top Barolo! One of the very best producers. I still have chicken skin now. To be drunk until 2045.
